I-Share Foundation

If you have ever been down Jangali Maharaj Road in Pune, you know how much is going on there. Our spot is at 1260 B, Plot No. 596. It is right in the middle of Deccan Gymkhana and Shivajinagar. Being in the 411004 area means there is always noise from the traffic and people walking by. The I-Share Foundation operates out of this space, and it is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, but we make it work. We have got some old chairs and a few desks that have seen better days. It feels like a real part of the city, not some glass building far away. We spend a lot of time just chatting with folks who live around Deccan. Everyone knows the landmarks here. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a few of us who decided to start something local. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the window when the monsoon hits Pune hard, but we just put a bucket down and keep going. That is just how it is. We like being accessible. You can just walk in off JM Road if you need to talk. We are plain people doing plain work. No missions or visions, just helping out where we can in Shivajinagar. It is an honest living and we are glad to be right here in the thick of it all. Most days we are just busy with the day to day.
