Our office for Hyundai Construction Equipment India Pvt. Ltd. is in Viman Nagar at the Eden Garden building. We are up on the third floor in suite 309. Viman Nagar is a pretty modern part of Pune, so there are always planes flying overhead from the airport nearby. It makes for a lot of background noise, but you eventually stop noticing it after a few months. The office is okay, it has decent windows that look out over the busy street below. We have a lot of computers and some whiteboards where we scribble down notes and phone numbers. It’s a bit more organized than some other places, but it still has a lived-in feel with half-empty coffee mugs and stacks of paper everywhere. We deal with the heavy construction side of things, mostly looking after the equipment side of the business. The staff here is a mix of young folks and some of us who have been around since the start. We aren't big on formalities; we just use each other's first names and get the work done. Traffic near Viman Nagar can be a nightmare, so we are always complaining about the commute. Aside from that, it’s a good place to spend the day. We just try to stay on top of the work and keep the files in order.
