Humane Foundation For People And Animals

Our office is at 6 Boat Club Road in Pune, inside the Vinspa building. We are in room 403 on the 4th floor. This part of Pune is quite pleasant, with lots of trees and it's generally a bit quieter than the main city center. The Humane Foundation For People And Animals is based here, and it’s a fairly small operation. We don't have a big staff or a fancy reception area. It’s just a few of us who really care about helping both folks and their pets. The office often has a few bags of supplies sitting in the corner, and sometimes we even have a dog visiting if someone brings theirs in. We spend our time coordinating rescue efforts or helping people find resources they need. It’s a lot of phone calls and coordinating with volunteers. We don't have a polished way of doing things; we just react to what's needed at the moment. Our desks are usually a bit cluttered with notes and reminders. We aren't looking for awards or big recognition. We just like being in this part of town and doing what we can. Sometimes we walk down to the nearby cafes for a break. It's a simple, honest way to spend the day, and we wouldn't want it any other way. We just keep doing our bit for the community.
