Our office is over at AS-400 Professional in Pune. It’s a tech-heavy environment, so you’ll see lots of people with their heads down, staring at screens for hours. It’s not like those cool startups with bean bags and free snacks. We have regular desks, some slightly uncomfortable chairs, and a lot of tangled wires under the tables. The air conditioning is always humming in the background, making it feel a bit like a fridge, so most of us keep a spare jacket nearby. We deal with the global technology side of things, which basically means a lot of troubleshooting and making sure systems don't crash. It's not the kind of thing you can explain easily to your grandmother. The commute in Pune can be a real struggle, especially when it rains, so there’s always a bit of grumbling about the traffic when people first get in. We have a small pantry where we stand around and talk about things that aren't work, like where to find the best poha or what happened in the cricket match. We don't really do the whole corporate culture thing in a big way. We just come in, do our bit for the bank's systems, and go home. The office gets a bit messy with paper scraps and half-empty water bottles, but that’s just how it looks when people are actually working. It’s a practical place for people who just want to get their coding done without any extra drama.
