Our place is located in Shaniwar Peth, specifically at 532/1 in the Salim Compound. It’s right across from the Prabhat Cinema, which is a big local landmark. If you are from around here, you know the area is full of old buildings and narrow lanes. It has a lot of character, but it can be a bit of a squeeze when you’re trying to move stuff in or out. The compound itself is a bit of a mix of different businesses. Hoya Lens India Pvt Ltd is located here, and we’ve been around long enough that we know most of the neighbors. The office isn't anything spectacular to look at. It’s got a bit of that old-school vibe that fits with Shaniwar Peth. We spend a lot of time looking at lenses and dealing with orders. It can be quite detailed work, so we keep the space as organized as we can. The cinema across the street always has posters up for whatever is playing, and sometimes the noise from the crowds over there reaches us. It’s a very active part of town. We usually grab lunch from one of the small eateries nearby. The food is good and it’s fast. We like being in this part of the city because it feels real. It’s not a polished business park, it’s just a busy corner where we do our business every day. The morning tea delivery is something we look forward to at the compound.
