We are situated in the Gulistan Building, which is right near Poona College on K B Hidayutullah Rd in the Camp area. Our setup actually spans across five different shop units, from number one through five. It’s a good-sized space for what we do. We mostly deal with tiles and the kind of things you need for a bathroom. The area around here is always active, especially with the college being so close. There are always students walking by and plenty of local traffic. Inside the shop, we have stacks of tiles and various fixtures laid out so people can see the patterns. It’s not a polished gallery. It’s more of a working warehouse where things are out in the open. Sometimes the floors are a bit dusty because of the constant moving of heavy crates, but that's just part of the trade. We have been in this building for a long time and the locals know us pretty well. When someone is renovating their old house in Camp, they usually end up walking through our doors at some point. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy slogans. It is just a few of us here making sure the orders are correct and the stock is replenished. We use old-fashioned pens and paper for a lot of our notes. It’s just a straightforward business where we sell tiles to anyone who walks in from the street.
