Hopemirror Foundation

Ulwe is a newer part of the city, and that’s where we are. Flat No. 203 in the Royal Ashiyana building. It’s on Plot No. 111 in Sector 19. Ulwe is still growing, so you see a lot of buildings going up all around us. Royal Ashiyana is a decent place. Being on the second floor means we aren't too high up. Hopemirror Foundation is based right here. It’s a flat that we use for all our work. It’s got a kitchen and a bathroom like any other apartment, but we’ve turned the main rooms into our office area. It’s a bit quiet in Sector 19 compared to the busier parts of Navi Mumbai. The wind comes in from the creek side sometimes. We like the location because it’s not as congested as the older areas yet. The address is easy to find since the plots are numbered clearly in Ulwe. We don't have any fancy decorations. Just the basics to get through the work. It feels quite private and focused here. We don’t get a lot of walk-in traffic, which is okay. Most people who come to see us know where we are. It’s a simple, honest space in a developing neighborhood. We’ve been here since the building was relatively new. It’s our base for everything we do. It might not look like much but it works for us.
