Hope For Paws Foundation

We run the Hope For Paws Foundation out of Flat No. 9 in the Kubera Bahaar building on Sus Road in Pune. It’s a residential area, and our office is basically a flat we’ve converted to handle our foundation’s work. We aren't a big, wealthy organization. We’re just a few people who care about the animals in our city. Sus Road is getting busier, and that unfortunately means more accidents involving strays. We spend our days answering calls, talking to volunteers, and coordinating with local vets. It’s tough work and can be very emotional at times. We don't have a lot of resources, so we have to be very careful with how we spend every rupee. The flat is often filled with supplies, pet food, and sometimes even a rescue animal that needs a quiet place for a few hours. We started this foundation because we saw how many animals were suffering and wanted to do something, however small. We don’t have any fancy marketing or a big office. We just have our hard work and the support of some local folks. It’s a bit chaotic here sometimes, with the phones ringing and people coming in and out. But we wouldn't have it any other way. We’re just trying to help the dogs and cats of Pune as best as we can from our little space.
