We’ve been here on Uttam Nagar Road for quite some time now. Most mornings start with the sound of traffic outside our gate. It gets pretty loud once the sun is up. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the work done. We handle a lot of technical parts and machinery stuff. Some days the paperwork piles up on the desks and we just have to sit through it. Our team is small, mostly local people who know the area well. We drink a lot of tea while we look over the orders. It’s not always easy, especially when the power goes out or a shipment is late. We just deal with it. The building has seen better days, but it serves us fine for what we do. People drop by sometimes just to ask directions because we’re right on the main road. We don't mind. Usually, we are busy checking specs or talking to the mechanics who use our components. It is mostly quiet inside compared to the street. We try to keep things organized, but there is always a box or a tool out of place somewhere. That is just how it goes when you are actually working. We close up when the light starts to fade and the road gets even more crowded with people heading home. We just hope the bus isn't too late today.
