We've been at Swargate 404 for a while now. It’s a pretty busy spot, which keeps things interesting. We handle the hiring side of things for Hitech Indeco. Usually, folks come to us when they need specific gear for a construction job but don't want to buy it outright. It’s mostly just us keeping the machines in good shape and making sure they get where they need to go on time. Sometimes the yard gets a bit crowded with all the equipment. The weather here can be a real pain for maintenance, but we manage. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and checking schedules on a whiteboard. We don't really do the fancy office stuff; it’s more about the equipment sitting out back. If someone needs a breaker or a specific attachment for their excavator, they just give us a shout. We try to keep things straightforward. No one wants to deal with heaps of paperwork when there's a deadline looming on a site. It's just a regular workplace where we keep track of what's out on site and what's coming back for a service. Swargate is a decent place to be based, especially since it's easy for the trucks to get in and out. We've seen a lot of local projects come and go over the years. Some are big roadworks, others are just small home jobs, but the gear works the same. We just keep our heads down and stay busy.
