Our place is out in MIDC Ranjangaon at Plot No E-84. We are situated with Kalyani Thermal Systems, which makes the site quite large. Hirschvogel Kalyani is a name that people in the automotive and metal sectors might recognize, but for those of us working here, it’s just the daily grind. The drive out to Ranjangaon can be long depending on where you're coming from, but once you get here, it’s all about the machines. We deal with forging and parts, so there is always a bit of a hum in the air from the equipment. It’s a very industrial setting. We wear our safety gear and follow the usual routines every single day. The canteen is where most of us catch up during the break. It’s not like those fancy offices in the city center. Here, it’s about the heat, the metal, and the production schedules. We have a lot of people working across different shifts to keep things running. It’s a complicated setup with all the different machines and processes, but we’ve been doing it long enough that it feels normal. We don't have much time for small talk during the shift. We just focus on the tasks at hand and make sure the output is what it needs to be. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do here. The sun gets really strong out on the open plots.
