Our Pune office for Hiremath Irrigation Consultancy is located in Bibwewadi. We’re in Flat No 104 of the Anagha Apartment, which is tucked away in Mahalaxma Nagar. It’s a relatively quiet neighborhood compared to the city center, which makes it easier to focus on our irrigation designs. We handle a lot of the same consultancy work here as we do in our other locations. The flat is filled with blueprints and charts showing different water management techniques for farms and large gardens. Since we are in a residential building, it feels very casual. People often drop by without an appointment just to discuss a problem they’re having with their crops or their water supply. We have a small team here, and we spend a good chunk of our day on the phone or working on the computer. Sometimes we have to go out to the rural areas around Pune to see the land for ourselves. The office has a lived-in feel, with tea cups on the desks and stacks of paper everywhere. We don't bother with corporate decor. We just care about getting the irrigation plans right. Mahalaxma Nagar is a nice spot for us because it’s accessible but still peaceful. We just go about our business every day, trying to help farmers make the most of the water they have. It's a simple, honest way to spend our time.
