Hindustan Automation

If you find yourself over at the Barne Industrial Estate in Thergaon, you will probably see our sign for Hindustan Automation. We are located at S. No. 26, right across from the old Pudumjee Paper Mill. Being near the mill means there is always traffic and noise, but that is just life in an industrial area. We spend most of our time tinkering with parts and trying to get machines to run right. Automation sounds like a big word, but mostly it is just a lot of wiring and checking sensors until things click. Our shop isn't anything to look at twice, just a sturdy building filled with tools and some greasy workbenches. Most of us here have been working with our hands for a long time. Some days the coffee machine breaks down and that is a bigger problem than the actual work. We deal with various small parts and assemblies that go into bigger factory setups. It gets dusty, and the floors are never as clean as we would like them to be, but that is the nature of the trade. People stop by to ask for help with their setups, and we do what we can. It is a busy life here in Thergaon. We don't have any big corporate goals, just keeping the lights on and making sure the machines we touch actually work when they leave the shop. It is a lot of hard work, but we like it.
