Highparra Const. Pvt. Ltd is based out of Manibittu House in Shirlal Village. We are located in the Karkala Taluk of Udupi district, which is a pretty quiet part of Karnataka. Our office is basically just a room in the house where we keep the ledgers and the site plans. We do a lot of local construction work around the village and the neighboring towns like Hadiyangadi. It's not the kind of place where you see big corporate offices. We are just local people who know how to build things. Most of the time we are out on the field, so the office stays empty for hours. Udupi can get very rainy, and that really slows down the work on the sites. We just have to wait for the weather to clear up. We don't have a big marketing department or any fancy brochures. People usually find us through word of mouth or by just coming to Manibittu House. It's a simple operation where we talk directly to whoever needs a house built or a wall fixed. We’ve been here in Shirlal for a while and we know the local terrain pretty well. We aren't trying to do anything fancy, just standard construction work for our neighbors and the community here in the taluk. It is a slow life but we stay busy with the work we have. We like being part of the village and helping people build their homes. It is a good way to live and work in the countryside.
