If you head over toward Pimple Nilakh in Pune, you’ll find us at Akash Ganga Apartments, specifically C-5. We’re near the Rakshak Society, which is a good landmark if you’re lost. This branch of Havells India Ltd is pretty laid back compared to the ones in the bigger cities. The air is a bit cleaner out here near the Aundh Camp area. We have a small office on the ground floor. Most of our day is spent looking at spreadsheets and talking to contractors who need supplies for their projects. It’s a functional space with a few filing cabinets and a water cooler that everyone gathers around. We don’t have any big corporate banners hanging up, just a small nameplate. The team here is small, just four or five of us usually. We take our breaks together and sometimes order food from the place down the road. It’s a practical way to run things. We make sure the stock levels are right and that people get their deliveries on time. Sometimes the traffic near the society gets bad in the evening, so we try to get the vans out early. It’s just a regular group of people doing their thing in a quiet corner of Pune. We’ve grown used to the routine of this neighborhood and it feels like home to us now. The work isn't complicated but it keeps us on our toes most of the week.
