Lucky Scrap Rubber Traders

We handle scrap rubber out in the Pimpri Chinchwad area, specifically over in the Schicali part of Haveli. It is definitely not the cleanest job you could find. Our yard is usually filled up with old tires, rubber tubes, and various bits of industrial scrap that nobody wants anymore. It smells like old rubber most of the day, but when you work here for years, you stop smelling it altogether. We spend our time sorting through the piles that come in on the trucks. Some of it is just junk, but other pieces can be processed or sent off to be reused in something else. We move the heavy stuff around using an old loader that has seen better days. It is physical work and it definitely keeps you tired by the end of the shift. The yard gets really muddy when the rains come, which makes moving the rubber twice as hard as it usually is. We do not have a fancy office building, just a small wooden cabin where we keep our notebooks and the weighing scales. Most of the people who come by are truck drivers or other guys who work in the scrap trade. We know the roads around Haveli really well and we know how to get things moved. It is just a practical, gritty business. We take what is left over and find a use for it. There is no secret to what we do, just a lot of lifting and sorting throughout the day.
