Harshad Constructions

We are based in Sadashiv Peth, over at Prabhat, which is 303/304. It’s a familiar part of town for many because we are right near Vijay Cinema. If you know that theater, you can find us easily. Being in construction in an old area like Sadashiv Peth is interesting because the streets are narrow and everything is so close together. Our office is on the third and fourth floors. We don't have an elevator that works all the time, so we get our exercise climbing the stairs. We spend our days dealing with cement, steel, and lots of labor issues. It’s a hands-on kind of job. We aren't some big firm with shiny glass walls. Our desks are covered in dust from the site visits. We talk to people about their homes and try to figure out the best way to build what they want. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, or the supplies don't show up, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s honest work. We’ve been here for years and we know the neighbors. We usually grab lunch at one of the small places nearby. If you want to talk about a project, you just come up to the office and we’ll have a seat. It’s a very simple way of doing business, no fuss involved.
