Harsh Polishing Services is over here on Paud Road. We have been doing this for a bit now. Usually, the day starts early because the machines for polishing are heavy and it takes a while to load everything up into the van. If you know Paud Road, you know how the traffic gets around the afternoon, so we always try to get to the sites before that mess happens. Most of our time is spent looking at floors or old wooden furniture that has lost its shine over the years. It is a lot of dust, honestly. We wear masks, but you still feel it in your throat at the end of the day. The name Harsh is just what we went with when we started the setup. It isn’t anything fancy or complicated. People stop by the shop sometimes to ask if we can fix a scratched table or make their old marble look new again. We just tell them what can actually be done and what can't. Sometimes the stone is just too damaged. We use different grades of pads and liquids to get the job done. It is repetitive work, back and forth with the machines until the surface feels right under your hand. After we finish, there is always a lot of slurry to clean up. We spend a good amount of time just mopping that away so the house doesn't stay a mess. It is just how the work goes for us.
