Haritvari Foundation

We are located out in Yewat, which is in the Daund area of Pune. Our address is simply House Number 2735. It’s a quiet spot, away from the constant noise of the city center. Haritvari Foundation is something we run with a very small group of local people. We don't have a big corporate structure or a bunch of fancy titles. We just have our house and the work we do. Most of our days are spent dealing with local issues and trying to stay on top of our paperwork. It’s a simple life out here. We don't have a lot of visitors, but when we do, it’s usually someone from the village who needs help or wants to talk about a project. The building is just a regular house, nothing fancy at all. We have a few desks set up in one of the rooms, and that’s about it. We aren't trying to change the whole world; we just want to do our part right here in Yewat. Sometimes the rain makes the roads a bit messy, and it takes us longer to get things done, but we don't mind. We prefer this over sitting in a high-rise office in Pune city. It feels more real to be right here where the ground is. We don't use any marketing tricks or polished speeches. We just tell people what we’re doing and hope it helps. It’s just us, working from home.
