We’re over in Pune, right across from the Aroh Mangal Karyakay. Our building is called Laxmi Sadan. It’s a well-known landmark in the neighborhood, so we don't usually have to give people long directions. Being in Maharashtra, we’re right in the thick of a very busy city. The street outside can be quite noisy with all the weddings and events happening at the hall across the way. We’ve grown used to the music and the crowds. Inside Laxmi Sadan, it’s a bit more peaceful. We have our desks and some old wooden chairs. It’s an honest place. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because they don't help us get the work done. The H.A.Ltd team is just a few of us who have been together for years. We know each other’s habits and how the tea should be made. We handle our day-to-day business without any corporate jargon. It’s just simple work. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the roof leak a little, so we have to move some files around. It’s not a big deal. We just keep going. People know us as the local folks who have been here forever. We aren't going anywhere. We like this part of Pune and the people we see every day. It’s just a normal job in a normal building.
