Haier Appliances India has a presence here at Yashwanth Chavan’s place in Chavan Nagar. This is in the Chandan Nagar area of Pune. It’s a bit of an informal setup compared to a big corporate park, but it works well for what we need to do. We are mostly focused on the service and parts side of things from this location. The office is really just a simple room with some desks and a lot of logbooks to track all the appliance repairs and deliveries. Pune is a busy place, and it gets quite hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going all day. The team here is small, and we all know each other well. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just spend our time answering calls and trying to figure out why a fridge or a washing machine isn't working right. It’s practical, everyday work. There’s a lot of coming and going with the service guys, so it’s never really quiet. We grab our lunch from the local stalls nearby, which is usually the highlight of the day. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just here to make sure people’s appliances get fixed. It’s a straightforward operation in a regular neighborhood, and that’s just how we like to keep it.
