Shree Packaging

Shree Packaging operates out of the Chintamani Industrial Estate in Hadapsar. We are at number 26, right in the middle of the Ramtekadi area. If you have ever driven through Pune, you know how the traffic can get around here, especially during the shift changes in the afternoon. Our space is usually filled with the smell of paper and tape. There are stacks of packaging materials everywhere you look, sometimes piled up so high you can’t see the back wall clearly. It is not the cleanest or the quietest job, but it is what we do. We do not have a big corporate office with fancy carpets. Instead, we have concrete floors and a few sturdy tables where we get everything ready for our customers. The crew here is small, and most of us have been working together for a long time. We know each other's habits and how to get the machines running when they decide to be stubborn. Sometimes it is a rush to get things out before the transport trucks arrive, and other times it is a bit slower and we just catch up on the cleaning or maintenance. The industrial estate has a lot of energy, with people always moving between units. We just keep to our corner and focus on getting the orders right. It is simple work, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Most of the time, the radio is playing.
