Gujarat Ambuja Cements Ltd

This branch of Gujarat Ambuja Cements Ltd is located in Flat No. B1/11 at the Aaykar Society. It’s on Paud Road in the Kothrud area of Pune. If you know Kothrud, you know it is mostly a residential place with lots of schools and shops. Our office is basically a flat that has been converted. It feels more like a home than a place of business, which is actually quite nice. We have the usual office furniture spread out across the rooms. Outside, Paud Road is always packed with vehicles and people going to work. We spend our time here managing the accounts and the distribution for the Pune region. It is a very relaxed atmosphere inside the society, away from the main road noise. We know the security guards and the neighbors, and they know us. We aren't doing anything flashy here. We just sit at our desks, manage the phone calls from the distributors, and make sure the cement supplies are on track. Pune has a lot of construction going on, so we stay pretty busy most days. We usually head out for a quick snack at the local stalls nearby during the break. It is a very typical Pune way of working—getting the job done without making a big deal out of it. We like the quiet of the society and it helps us focus on the tasks at hand while the city moves around us.
