Green Tech Nursery

We’ve been running Green Tech Nursery over on Hinjawadi Mundhwa Road 32/2 for some time now. It’s mostly just us out here in the dirt, trying to make sure everything stays watered and healthy. The nursery isn't some fancy garden center you see in glossy magazines; it’s a working space with muddy boots and stacks of empty plastic pots everywhere. Some days the sun really beats down on the rows of saplings, and we spend hours just dragging hoses around to keep the leaves from wilting. We have a decent variety of things tucked away, from small flowering plants to some larger trees that have been sitting in the back for a couple of seasons. It gets quite busy on the weekends when people from the nearby apartments stop by to find something for their balconies. The traffic on Mundhwa Road can be a bit much sometimes, but once you step inside the gates, it's a lot quieter. We don't have a big team or a polished sales pitch. It’s usually just a few of us with dirt under our fingernails helping people load bags of soil into their trunks. Sometimes we run out of certain things and have to wait for the next delivery to show up from the wholesale growers. It’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with living things. If you come by 32/2, you’ll likely find us somewhere near the greenhouse area, probably weeding or fixing a broken sprinkler. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset.
