Grand View Restaurant

Grand View Restaurant is tucked away in Baner, specifically over by the Pancard Clubs Limited area near the hills. Being up here in Baner Village means we get a bit of a different vibe than the places right in the middle of the city. It’s a bit quieter, though the wind can get pretty strong coming off the hills sometimes. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy. The building is a bit older and has its quirks, like the way the front door sometimes needs a good shove to close properly. We’ve got a mix of tables inside and some space near the windows where you can see the surroundings. It’s not a fancy setup by any means. We use plain white plates and the silverware is just standard stuff we’ve had for years. Most of our staff live nearby, so we all know each other pretty well. It feels more like a family kitchen than a business most days. We have a lot of regulars who come up the hill specifically to see us, which we really appreciate. Sometimes we have issues with the water pressure because of the location, but we’ve learned how to deal with it over time. We don't do much in the way of advertising; people usually just find us by word of mouth or by wandering up this way. It’s just a steady, honest place to get a meal without any fuss or unnecessary noise.
