Govind Collection

Our shop, Govind Collection, is located right on Bajirao Road in Sadashiv Peth. If you know where Gambhirs Classes are, we are just opposite them at number 1113. It’s a busy area with students and locals walking by all the time. We’ve been part of this street for quite some time now. The space isn’t huge, but we pack a lot into it. Every morning we open the shutters and start setting things up. It’s a lot of work keeping everything tidy because people are always coming in to look around. Sadashiv Peth has a specific feel to it, very traditional and always active. We like being here because of the energy of the market. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside when a few families come in at once, but we manage. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the shelves stay full. We handle everything from checking the new arrivals to helping someone find a specific size. It’s a straightforward business. We don't use fancy systems, just a notebook and some patience. When the sun goes down, the street lights come on and the area feels different, but we stay open until the usual time. It’s a regular shop for regular people who live nearby or are just passing through the Peth. The daily grind here is simple but keeps us on our toes.
