Gopal Arts

Our little shop, Gopal Arts, is situated right near Laxmi Lodge. If you know Sinhagad Road, we are easy to find over in the Dhayari area. It is a busy part of town, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading out. We have been at this location for a while now. The shop is tucked away a bit, but locals know us. It’s not a big corporate office, just a workspace filled with brushes, paints, and frames. The smell of thinner and wood is always around. We spend our days working on whatever projects come through the door. Sometimes it’s a sign for a new store, and other times it’s something smaller for a neighbor. The light in Dhayari is nice in the morning, which helps when we are trying to get the colors right. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Pune, just a reliable spot where you can get some art work done. There is a lot of walking traffic near Laxmi Lodge, so we see a lot of faces. Sometimes people just pop in to say hello or ask for directions. We keep the shop floor clean, or at least we try to, but there is always a bit of paint somewhere. It’s a bit messy, but that is how art goes. We stay here until late most evenings finishing up the day’s tasks. It’s just what we do.
