Goel Ganga Group, Pune

Our office for Goel Ganga Group, Pune is tucked away in Vallabha Nagar over at the D. V. Shirvandkar spot. Pune has grown so much lately, but this little corner feels a bit more familiar to us. We spend most of our time here dealing with the day-to-day stuff that comes with running a group like this. It’s not a glamorous setup, just a functional space where we can sit down and get through the mountain of tasks we have every week. Sometimes the internet acts up or the tea runs out, which is always a bit of a crisis for the staff. We’ve got a couple of old desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. It works for us though. Being in Pune means we are always in the middle of everything. We usually have people coming and going throughout the day, so it never stays quiet for very long. We try to keep things straightforward. No one here wears a suit unless they really have to. It's more of a shirtsleeves kind of place. We handle the paperwork, talk to the contractors, and make sure the schedules are being met as much as possible. It gets busy during the monsoon when the rain hits the roof hard. We just keep our heads down and keep working through whatever comes our way. It's a living, I guess you could say.
