Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd.

We've been here in Dhankawadi for quite a while now. Most people around Pune know the name Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., but we just focus on getting the daily work done. It gets busy here, especially with the traffic outside, but we manage. The team is just regular folks who show up, do their jobs, and head home. We don't have fancy offices or anything like that. It's mostly just desks, files, and people talking about what needs fixing next. Sometimes the tea lady comes by late, which is the highlight of the afternoon for some of us. We deal with all sorts of things throughout the day. It isn't always smooth, things break or schedules get messy, but that's just how it goes in a real workplace. If you come by this part of Pune, you'll see our building tucked away. It's nothing special to look at, just a functional space where the actual manufacturing and admin stuff happens. Most of the guys here have worked together for years. We know each other’s families and what everyone likes for lunch. It feels more like a small community than a big company when you're actually inside these walls. We don't spend much time on long meetings or big speeches. There's always a list of tasks that never seems to end, so we just keep at it. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills.
