Godafarms Foundation

Godafarms Foundation is where we work, right at the Rukhmini Complex in Sahkar Nagar, specifically at Plot Number 43. We’ve been in this part of Aurangabad for some time now. Our group is mostly interested in farming and helping the local farmers get things right. There is a lot of land around here, but sometimes the ways of doing things are a bit old and don’t work as well as they used to with the changing weather. We spend our time looking at how to improve crops or just making sure the soil is healthy enough to grow something decent. It’s not just about the plants though, it's about the families who live off the land and need a steady income. We have a small office here at C. T. No. 16043/3/60, and usually, someone is around if you need to ask a question about seeds or how to save water. It isn't a high-tech operation at all. We mostly rely on what we know and what we learn from talking to people out in the fields every day. Some days are busier than others, especially when the seasons change and everyone is planting at once. We don't have a big fancy sign or a polished lobby. Most people find us by word of mouth in the neighborhood. We just want to see the local farms doing better than they were last year. It’s simple, slow work, but it takes a lot of patience.
