Globeindia Mahila Foundation

Our foundation is located at Shanti-Priti, on Plot No 46 B in Mageshkarnagar. We are right opposite Sai Hospital in Mangalwar Peth. It is a very busy area, especially with the hospital traffic right there. We have a small office that stays pretty active during the day. A group of local women started this to help out with things in the neighborhood. We don't have a corporate structure or a big board of directors. It is just us. We spend our time listening to what people need. Sometimes we help with paperwork, other times we just offer a place to talk. Mangalwar Peth is a tight-knit community and we like being right in the middle of it. Our space isn't very big, so things can get a bit cramped when a few people visit at once. But we make it work. We don't have any glossy brochures or fancy websites. Most of our news spreads through the market or at the hospital. We have been at this location for a few years and have become a regular part of the street. The noise from the road can be a bit much sometimes, but you get used to it. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks. There isn't any big secret to what we do. We just show up and help out where it is needed most. It is honest work.
