Global Eprocure

If you find yourself in Kondhwa, Pune, you will probably pass by Global Eprocure. It is an office where a lot of people sit in front of screens most of the day. The building is pretty standard for this part of India, and the traffic outside can be a real headache during the morning rush. Inside, it is mostly the sound of typing and people talking on their headsets. We have a small pantry where everyone gathers to heat up their lunch boxes around noon. The smells of different home-cooked meals fill the air for a bit. It is not a corporate showroom; it is just a place where we handle a lot of data and procurement stuff. Sometimes the air conditioning is too cold and everyone wears sweaters even when it is boiling outside in Pune. We have some plants on the windowsills that someone forgets to water occasionally. Most of us have been working here together for a while, so we don't really stand on ceremony. The meetings are just people sitting around a table trying to solve problems or fix errors in the system. It can get stressful when deadlines are close, but usually, things are just steady and routine. We stay until the work is finished, and then everyone heads out to catch the bus or get on their bikes to go home in the evening.
