If you are looking for Gharkul Real Estate, we are right there in Kothrud at 2nd Bhoiwada. The shop is number 6 in B4, Suraj Nagar. It’s pretty easy to find if you know where Shanti Icon Chowk is, we are just a short walk from there. The space isn't huge. It’s a typical local shop where we have a couple of desks and some chairs for people to sit while we talk about houses or plots. There is always a lot of talk about who is selling what and where the new buildings are going up. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out on our scooters checking out properties around Kothrud. It gets dusty and the traffic in the chowk can be a bit much during rush hour, but this is home for us. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New shops come and go, but we’ve stayed put in this little corner. Usually, there’s a stack of newspapers on the table and maybe some tea being passed around if it’s a slow afternoon. We don’t use any complicated software or big screens. We just write things down in our registers and remember people’s names. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for us and the folks who come to see us. We’re just local people helping other local people find a place to stay or invest their money.
