Gestosis India Association

We are located in the Deccan Gymkhana area of Pune, right off Bhandarkar Road at CTC No 904. It’s a very central part of the city, which means it’s always busy and noisy. Finding a place to park our scooters is a daily struggle, but we like being here. The association is focused on gestosis. We aren't a big medical corporation. We’re just a group of people working out of a small office. It’s not very polished. The walls could use a new coat of paint and the furniture is pretty old. But it’s a place where we get things done. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or writing letters. It’s mostly just paperwork and coordination. We don't have a big "about us" speech prepared. We just tell people that we’re here to help with information and support. Some days the office is really quiet, and other days it’s total chaos with everyone talking at once. We don't have a mission statement or any promotional posters. We just have stacks of journals and a lot of medical files. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where everything is. We’re just regular people trying to run an association in the middle of a busy city. We take things as they come and try to be useful to the people who need us.
