Geometrix Architects

We’ve been here at Parvati 5 for quite some time now. It’s a quiet enough spot most days, though the morning traffic can get a bit loud outside the windows. The office is usually filled with rolls of paper and half-finished drawings scattered across the big tables we use. Geometrix Architects isn't a huge place, just a few of us sitting around computers or arguing about where a wall should go in some house plan. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and looking at site photos. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we just end up talking about the old buildings in the neighborhood instead. It’s not fancy here. There are some dusty models on the shelves that we probably should have cleaned months ago. We just show up, do the drawings, talk to the contractors who come in with mud on their boots, and try to get things right. People drop by without calling sometimes, which is fine because someone is almost always here. We don't have a big reception desk or anything. You just walk in and someone will look up from their screen. The light in the afternoons is actually pretty nice through the front glass. It makes the workspace feel a bit better even when we are staying late to finish up a set of plans for a client who needs them by tomorrow morning. It’s just how things go for us here.
