Genius Tractors

You can find us at Plot No. 18 in the Shivprasad Building. We are part of the Shivaji Housing Society on S.B. Road. It’s a recognizable spot in Narayan Gaon, right in the Junnar area. We spend our time with tractors. Farmers come by often to look at the machines or ask about parts. It’s a lot of grease and oil around here. We try to keep the place tidy but with tractors, that’s almost impossible. We talk to a lot of people from the nearby villages. Everyone has a different need for their land. We just listen and see which tractor might fit what they are doing. Some days are slow, others we have people lined up out the door. We don't do much marketing; people just know we are here. The building is sturdy, and we’ve got enough space to move the smaller equipment around. Working in Narayan Gaon is good because we are close to the people who actually use these machines. We know the local soil and what works best for it. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We spend a lot of time under the hoods of engines or checking tire pressures. We’ve been around for a bit, so we know most of the regulars. It’s just how we run things, keeping it simple. Shivaji Housing Society is a decent neighborhood. We see a lot of the same faces every harvest season. The tractors take up a lot of room, so we are always shuffling them around to make space. It's a bit like a puzzle some mornings. We have a small desk where we keep all the manuals, though we usually know where everything is. It’s a lot of hard work, but seeing a machine head out feels good.
