General Hardware Stores

Down here in Raviwar Peth at 368 Bhori Ali, things are always a bit loud and crowded. That is just how the market is. Our shop, General Hardware Stores, is tucked into the row like all the others. We have aisles full of stuff—nails, screws, hinges, and heavy tools that stay on the bottom shelves because they are a pain to move. If you need a specific type of bolt or some plumbing supplies, we usually have it buried somewhere in the back. It’s dusty work and our hands are rarely clean by the end of the day. People from around the neighborhood come by when a pipe leaks or they want to put up a new shelf. We don't do anything fancy here. No big displays or bright lights. It is just a hardware store where we sell things people actually need for their houses. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the whole lane and we have to wait to get the crates inside. My family has been around this area for a long time so we know most of the faces that walk through the door. It’s a lot of lifting and counting out small parts. We don't have a website or a marketing person. If you need a hammer or some paint, you just come to Bhori Ali and find us. That’s how it has always worked for us and we like it that way because it is simple and honest.
