Geissel - Jakap Pvt. Ltd., Pune sits out at Gate No. 1102 on Mutha Road. This is over in the Pirangut area, specifically in Taluka Mulshi. The drive out here from the main part of Pune can be a bit long, especially when the rains start and the roads get a little slick. The landscape is mostly industrial, but you can still see the hills in the distance on a clear day. Our spot at Gate No. 1102 is pretty easy to find once you get onto Mutha Road. It’s a large facility with plenty of space for everything we have to do. The air feels a bit different out here compared to the city center. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving between the different sections of the building. The morning shift starts early, usually before the sun is fully up. We have a small canteen area where everyone sits together for lunch, mostly just talking about local news or their families. The gates are always open during the day as people come and go for deliveries. It’s a practical environment where the focus is just on the daily tasks at hand. There aren't many shops nearby, so we mostly stick to the office during the day. Maharashtra weather can be unpredictable, but the building keeps us dry. It’s a solid place to work and everyone knows their role without needing much direction from anyone else.
