Geeta Carrying Corporation

Geeta Carrying Corporation is based in Tathawade, over in the Chinchwad area. You’ll find us at Gajanan Colony. It’s a bit of a hub for transport companies because it’s close to the main roads. We spend our time moving goods for all sorts of people. The yard is usually full of trucks and the smell of diesel. It’s a very hands-on type of business. We don’t sit in air-conditioned offices all day; we’re out there making sure the loading is done right. The weather in Pune can be tough, either really hot or very rainy, but the work doesn't stop for that. We have a crew that has been with us for years, so we’re more like a family than a company. We don’t use any corporate jargon or have long meetings about goals. Our goal is just to finish the day’s list without any major issues. It is basic carrying work. We take things from here and put them there. Sometimes the roads are bad and sometimes the trucks need repairs, which is just part of the deal. We keep it simple and honest. If a client asks a question, we give them a straight answer even if it’s not what they want to hear. We aren't looking to be the biggest, just to stay busy and do right by the people who hire us. That’s our daily routine at Gajanan Colony. It is hard work but we are used to it.
