Gatecross Braveheart Foundation

Gatecross Braveheart Foundation operates out of Bhavani Complex at Sangam Chowk in Shastrinagar. We are up on the first floor in B Wing, Flat Number 4. It’s a busy intersection, so there's always noise from the street coming through the windows. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and it serves us well because everyone knows where Sangam Chowk is. The office itself is nothing special. We have a few desks, a shelf full of old files, and a small area where visitors can sit. We started this foundation because we wanted to tackle some of the local issues we saw every day while walking through Kothrud. We aren't a big team, just a handful of locals who care about the neighborhood. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and meeting with people who drop by the office. It can get a bit hectic during the middle of the day, but we manage. We don’t have a fancy reception or anything like that. If you come in, you’ll likely just see one of us typing away or sorting through mail. We try to be straightforward with everyone. If we can help, we will, and if we can't, we’ll tell you who might be able to. It’s a very grounded way of working. We just want to keep things moving forward for the people around here without making a big fuss about it. The first floor location makes it easy for people to find us without too much climbing.
