Ganesh Industries

We’ve been here at S. No. 39 for quite some time now, just down the road from Tiny Tots English Medium School. It gets pretty noisy when the kids are getting out of school, but we’re used to it by now. Ganesh Industries is basically just a group of us who know how to work the machines and get things done. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that, just a workshop where we spend most of our daylight hours. Warje Malwadi has changed a lot since we started, with more traffic on NDA Road every year, making it a bit of a headache to get parts delivered on time sometimes. Usually, we're just focused on whatever job is on the bench that day. It’s dirty work, honestly. Our hands are almost always covered in oil or metal dust, and the floor needs a good sweep more often than it gets one. We don’t really do big meetings. If something needs fixing or making, we just talk it over near the back where it’s a bit quieter. Some days are slow and we just sit around drinking tea, waiting for the electricity to come back on or for a supplier to show up. Other days, we’re scrambling to finish everything before the sun goes down. It’s a simple setup. We know the neighbors and they know us. That’s just how it goes here. We try to keep things moving and hope the machines don't act up too much.
