Ganesh Hardware

Our shop is located on the Dhanori Mumbai Pune Road. We are in A Wing of the building near Gagan Giri Mangal Karyalay. The official spot is Vishal Chordiya Sr No 52. It’s a busy road with a lot of dust from the traffic. Ganesh Hardware is a place where we keep everything from hammers to plumbing pipes. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling. Sometimes we have to use a tall ladder to reach the top boxes. It’s a bit of a maze inside. We know where the nails are, but sometimes a customer asks for something obscure and we have to dig for it. The Mangal Karyalay nearby always has something going on, so the street gets crowded. We see a lot of contractors and DIY guys coming in early in the morning. They’re usually in a hurry to get to a job. We just count out the screws and bag them up. The floor is concrete and always has a bit of metal shavings or wood dust on it. It’s not a polished store. It’s a hardware shop. We have a small desk where we keep the ledger. Most of our day is spent helping people figure out what size bolt they need. We’ve been at this location for a good while. The A Wing has other businesses too, but we’re the ones with the heavy stuff out front.
