If you’re driving through Wagholi and head toward Wareshwar Mandir, you’ll find our spot. We’ve been based here for a good while, watching the whole area grow from just a few houses to all these new apartments popping up everywhere. It’s a lot noisier than it used to be. Our yard is usually full of supplies, and there is always something being moved around. The staff here are mostly locals who know the neighborhood inside and out. We spend a lot of time just talking to people who stop by while they’re on their way to the temple. It’s a casual place. You might find us sitting on plastic chairs outside the office during a slow patch, drinking tea and watching the traffic go by. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us keeping the ledger and making sure the inventory is where it should be. Sometimes a delivery is late because of the roadwork nearby, and we have to explain that to a grumpy customer, but that’s just life in Wagholi. We’ve seen the seasons change many times from this gate. When it’s dry, the dust covers everything, and when it’s monsoon season, we’re all wearing gumboots. We don’t have a fancy pitch to give you. We just open up in the morning, do the work that needs doing, and close up when the sun goes down. It is just about being here and being reliable.
