Gajanan Distributors

Our business, Gajanan Distributors, is located at 1344 Sadashiv Peth on Bharat Natya Mandir Road. We operate out of the Asim Apartments, which is directly opposite Godbole Hospital. Sadashiv Peth is one of those old, traditional parts of Pune where the streets are narrow and full of history. Working here is quite different from being in a modern industrial area. We handle all our distribution work from this ground-floor space, so it’s usually packed with boxes and delivery schedules. Our team is small, mostly made up of people who have lived in this area for a long time. We don't have a website or do any fancy marketing; we just focus on our daily deliveries to retailers. The road outside can get very crowded, especially when there is a show at Bharat Natya Mandir. Loading the trucks is always a bit of a puzzle because of the limited space, but we have a system that works for us. We start our day very early to beat the traffic. The atmosphere in the office is very casual and we often have tea together while going over the paperwork. Being across from the hospital means there is always movement on the street. It’s a busy, honest way to make a living and we like being part of the old city. We just keep our heads down and make sure the goods get delivered.
