Gajanan Book Centre

Gajanan Book Centre is a bit tucked away, but we actually like it that way. We are located at Plot No 6 on B N Road, inside the Chawla Niwas building. We are on the ground floor in Flat No. 1. If you can find the ICC Tower, we are situated right behind it. It is a quiet spot in Pune where we keep all of our books. We have many different things on the shelves, mostly items that students and local readers are looking for. It is not a massive bookstore with a cafe or fancy lights. It is just a few rooms filled with stacks of books. Sometimes it takes a minute for us to find exactly what a person needs, but we usually know where everything is. We have been in this location for a long time. People come in looking for specific school books or just something to read on their commute. We do not do any fancy marketing. Usually, people just know we are here behind the tower. It can be a bit of a tight squeeze when a new shipment of books arrives. We spend a lot of our time organizing and helping people find what they are looking for. It is a simple business. We open up the shop in the morning and stay until late. It feels good to see the same faces coming back.
