Friends Industries

Out here in Vadgaon, Maval, things move a bit differently than in the big city. Friends Industries is our little operation, and we have been based in this post-office area for a long time. It’s quiet mostly, until we start the day’s work. We are a small group of people who have known each other forever. That is why we called it Friends Industries, I guess. It just made sense at the time. We don't have a big corporate ladder or anything like that. If something needs to be done, one of us just grabs a tool and does it. The weather can get a bit rough during the rains in Maval, but we just shut the doors and keep working. Our shop floor is usually a bit of a mess with materials and half-finished projects. It is just the way it is when you are making things every day. We don't have a receptionist. If you come by, you'll probably hear us before you see us. We focus on the metal and the machines. Sometimes we sit outside for a break and just look at the hills. It’s a good place to work. We don't worry about being the biggest or the fanciest. We just want to make sure the work we do is solid and that we can come back tomorrow and do it again. It’s just us, working hard in Vadgaon.
