Our spot is over in Erandwana, right on the first floor of Tejshree Park. It is a decent enough area in Pune, though parking can be a real headache if you come at the wrong time of day. We have been set up in this flat for a good stretch of time. It is not a huge space, but we make it work. Most of the time it is just the usual office chatter and the sound of the old ceiling fan. Being on the first floor is nice because we do not have to wait for the lift, which is lucky since it breaks down more than it should. We have got some desks shoved in together, and the files are starting to pile up in the corners. Erandwana is a good neighborhood with plenty of places to grab a quick lunch nearby. We have gotten to know the regular folks around the building over the years. It is funny how a place starts to feel after a few years. You know exactly which floorboard creaks and which window does not quite close right when it rains. We are not fancy people. We just show up, do the hours, and head home to our families. Sometimes visitors get confused and think we should be in one of those new tech parks, but we prefer being here in a real building with some character. It keeps us grounded while we deal with the paperwork and phone calls.
