Up on the fifth floor of Aditya Apartments in Rasta Peth, you’ll find our Pune branch. It’s Flat No. 55. Being in the heart of the city means there’s always noise coming up from the street, but you get used to it after a week or two. We work on the Franke India side of things here, mostly focusing on the local market in and around Pune. The apartment is mostly full of desks and filing cabinets. We don't have a big storefront where you can see all the sinks and appliances on display, it’s more for the behind-the-scenes work. We spend hours talking to contractors and kitchen planners. Sometimes the stairs are faster than the lift when we are in a hurry. Our team is small, just a few people who know the local plumbing and construction trade well. We’ve been in this Rasta Peth location for a good bit now. It’s convenient for getting around the city, even if the parking is a nightmare sometimes. We keep things pretty informal. There’s usually a radio playing in the background while we sort through invoices. We aren't looking to be the biggest office in Pune, just a reliable one that gets the orders out. It’s a lot of checking specs and sizes to make sure the right tap goes to the right house. We try to finish our work on time so we can beat the evening rush hour.
