Frames The Digital Photo

You can find us at Shp No 11/7 in the Sarvodaya Society. We are right near Bramha Majestic on Nibm Road in the Kondhwa area. The shop is small and usually smells a bit like the chemicals from the printers and the wood from the frame moldings. We have photos pinned up everywhere on the walls, mostly samples of what we’ve done for people over the years. It’s often a bit messy with scraps of paper and bits of glass on the cutting table. Nibm Road is always humming with cars, so there’s a steady background noise while we work. We spend our days cropping images on the screen or helping someone pick out a frame that doesn’t clash with their wall color. It is a lot of standing around and squinting at details. Sometimes the printer acts up and we have to spend an hour fixing it, which is frustrating but that’s just part of the job. We get a lot of people from the society coming in for quick passport photos or to print stuff from their phones. It isn't a high-tech lab, just a local spot where we do our best with the machines we have. We like being in Kondhwa and seeing the same faces come back every few months. It's just a regular photography shop where we do the work ourselves and keep things moving.
