We are located out at 44/9 Ekta Vihar, right near the National Defence Academy in Pune. Our name is Fourthdimensionarchitech, which is a bit of a mouthful. Working near the NDA means the surroundings are actually quite green and peaceful, which is a nice change from the chaotic center of the city. We’ve been here at 411 023 for a while. The commute can be a bit long for some of us, but once you get here, it’s a good spot to sit down and focus. The office itself is pretty basic. We have our computers and our drafting stools and a lot of rolls of tracing paper. It’s not the kind of place with a glass front or a fancy sign. Most people just know us by word of mouth. We deal with architectural drawings and planning all day long. Sometimes we lose track of time because it’s so quiet out here. There’s a local spot where we get lunch, and that’s pretty much the highlight of the afternoon. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to make sure the buildings we design don't have any major flaws. It’s a lot of staring at lines and numbers. By the time the sun starts setting over the hills near Khadakwasla, we pack up and head out. It's just a regular job for us and we like the slow pace of this specific neighborhood.
